My research spans computational fluid dynamics in porous and complex media, with numerical modelling as the common thread.

Lattice Boltzmann Methods

D3Q19 pore-scale hydrodynamics coupled to advection–diffusion–reaction models, with verification through permeability, mass conservation, and breakthrough behaviour.

Rock Acidification

Coupled HCl transport, surface kinetics, and pore-geometry evolution to analyse compact, wormholing, and uniform dissolution regimes in carbonates.

Porous-Media Dynamics

Micro-CT segmentation, connectivity and skeleton analysis, pore-scale flow, and structure–property relations for heterogeneous digital rocks.
